Drimiopsis maculata plant 3 x succulent bulbs in GIRRAWEEN, New South Wales for sale
A neat little low-growing bulbous plant from South Africa. Thick, wavy-margined 2x3" olive green leaves have very distinct, almost black leopard spots in profusion. White flowers are borne in tight spikes reaching 12". Drimiopsis has an above-ground pseudobulb. It seems more similar to a squill (Scilla or Ledebouria). Plant in light shade, in a well draining soil and irrigate moderately. Will multiply in the garden to form clumps that should be divided every few years. A prospect for that most difficult of growing situations, dry shade.
On offer is 3 x bulbs not pictured will be supplied bare rooted (no soil).
